Everyone’s favorite EHR, Epic, has a fire truck, and I don’t. Seems unfair, right? I should have a fire truck. I just added a new goal to my OKRs for this year: buy a Freshpaint fire truck. And since I know my boss, Ray, will ask: The ROI is infinite. Infinite. Imagine the buzz we’d create if we show up to HCIC, or the next Freshpaint LIVE, in a fire truck.
And while I have your attention here: The Super Bowl is coming up, so we’re creating a little competition. All you have to do is correctly pick the winner of the Super Bowl and you’ll get a free t-shirt. Simple, right? You've got a 50/50 shot. Although Vegas has the 9ers favored to win by 2 points, so maybe you don't have a 50/50 shot. Either way, click here to enter. Good luck!

Product Update
We released Web Tracker Manager last week and we’ve already shipped its first improvement: A “Last Detected At” timestamp for each tracker. This improvement will help healthcare orgs keep track of how they’re resolving risky web trackers.
Let’s put the importance of this into context. If a healthcare organization believed it had removed the Google Analytics web tracker from its website two weeks ago, but Web Tracker Manager indicates it was detected as recently as yesterday, this implies the tracker might be hidden on an unexpected page.
Useful, right?
P.S. We’re looking for Adobe Analytics users. Our product team just built a custom integration with Adobe Analytics and we’re looking for a few more beta testers. So, if you’re a Freshpaint customer and you use Adobe Analytics, reply to this email and let me know. We’ll get you set up to beta-test the integration.

Freshpaint's Compliant Corner
Not to alarm you, but there are web trackers on your website right now. How do we know that? Well, there are web trackers on just about every website on the internet these days.
For the most part, those web trackers won’t lead to HIPAA violations, but there are a handful (beyond just Google Analytics and Facebook’s trackers) that could be risky for HIPAA compliance.
Good news, though. We put together a list of the eight most common web trackers that might be sitting on your website.
Alright, this isn’t strictly healthcare news. But it is data privacy news. And data privacy matters to healthcare orgs. So, in a daisy-chain sort of way, here’s some healthcare news:
New Jersey just passed a law that gives consumers more control over their data when visiting the websites of companies that operate in New Jersey. According to The Gothamist, this is one of the strictest data privacy laws in the nation.
That matters because it’s just further proving the point that data privacy is becoming more and more important to consumers and legislators.
